I have been waiting for your first crack at this. Without any statistical analysis the defense just looks better, faster more than anything. I believe it has been a key factor helping to keep the Reds in some of these very close games and certainly contributes to the pitching staffs early success (compared to last year). It seems, again without checking any numbers that the defense was not as good very early, the first week or so as it is now and also that when the Reds make mistakes, they seem to come in bunches and this team just isn&#039;t hitting well enough to overcome many mistakes. Do the numbers bear this out, or am I just imagining this?
I think I greatly prefer Rosales over EE and Lance Nix, in my mind, has earned a more playing time.</description>
